National User Conference 2013
iPatientCare Inc.’s annual National User Conference (NUCON) 2013 ended with a great fanfare and tremendous excitement among the attendees. iPatientCare has firmly established itself as a thought leader and innovator of healthcare IT technologies that help improve outcomes and reduce costs. NUCON, therefore, remains one of the key initiatives in consolidating creative thinking and advocacy issues within the iPatientCare community consisting of users, partners, and certified professionals.

Nucon 2013 Highlights
Fourth year in a row, iPatientCare’s National User Conference (NUCON) was a full-house, thanks to the overwhelming response from attendees, namely, physicians, nurses, practice managers, billers, and colleagues from physicians’ offices, hospitals, rural health clinics, and channel partners, representing almost all states nation-wide. All attendees were eager to learn about the latest developments in iPatientCare Electronic Health Record (EHR), Practice Management System (PMS), Patient Portal, Interoperability, mHealth solutions, and value-added services, such as, Revenue Cycle Management (RCM). Another attraction, as always, was having face-to-face meetings with iPatientCare business partners, whose products and solutions get integrated into iPatientCare platform and are delivered to enrich user experience and value of the fundamental iPatientCare products. Most of leading business partners exhibited their products at the NUCON 2013 and offered attractive offers to the conference attendees.
The conference kicked off with a Keynote address by Udayan Mandavia, President and CEO of iPatientCare. He talked about iPatientCare’s values and commensurate exceptional performance of iPatientCare product suite and the Corporation for the year 2013, and elaborated his vision of delivering cutting-edge IT solutions for 2014. He drove his point home by quoting exorbitant figures of US healthcare spending and why the US healthcare needs innovative solutions from iPatientCare so badly. During the keynote he also shared his vision to bring together the iPatientCare channel partners, end-users, certified professionals, business partners of iPatientCare for attending educational sessions, visiting the exhibition and cementing relationship for creating a cohesive group. Udayan shared the stage with Kedar Mehta, the CTO, as always, and it was Kedar who stole the limelight for providing sneak preview of iPatientCare 2014. All attendees were fanatically enthusiastic of the iPatientCare 2014 (2.0) at the end of Kedar’s high powered presentation.

A select few NUCON attendees were offered one-on-one meetings with Kedar and his Sr. Technology Officers, supported by engineering and application specialist teams. Participants took full advantage of this opportunity to present their recommendations for enhancing the products and discuss their implementation and support suggestions.
The keynote session was followed by the breakout sessions, a track focusing on clinical and interoperability solutions and another on practice management and cyber security. The numerous sessions covered topics on Electronic Health Record, Practice Management System, Patient Portal, mHealth, Revenue Cycle Management, Interoperability, and Privacy and Security of Data.
Like every year this year too attendees had an opportunity to meet wide range of Exhibitors whose products and services provide valuable add-ons to iPatientCare system to make it a unique technology platform instead of an ordinary software product! Numerous iPatientCare partners who exhibited here represented Clearing Houses, Computers & Networking Service Providers, Medical Devices Manufacturers, and Decision Support Content Providers.
For welcoming the holiday season and appropriate for this occasion, all practices, channel partners, and exhibitor/sponsors were gifted wine, cheese, and chocolates baskets, delicious breakfast, lunch, pizza, and also iPatientCare branded fleece jackets, caps, scarves, and gloves. The grand finale of the event was the lively quiz and the lucky draw before ending the conference.
