iPatientCare Exhibits Its Commitment and Active Participation to National Health IT Week

iPatientCare, Inc., a pioneer in mHealth and cloud-based ambulatory EHR and integrated Practice Management solutions, exhibited its commitment and participated actively by discussing the role of EHR and Patient Portal during the NHIT Week, September 16-20, 2013.

With over 350 collaborating partners, National Health IT Week was a unique event where all of healthcare’s stakeholders worked together, celebrated, and discussed Health IT’s role in affecting change in our nation’s care delivery. National Health IT Week was an opportunity to educate and engage citizens and healthcare providers alike in the value of health IT discussion. It was a unique opportunity to bring this community together in a collective and proactive conversation on the value and future of health IT.

One of the biggest highlights of the NHIT week was the National Health IT Week Blog Carnival hosted this year by leading health IT expert, Brian Ahier on his site as a member of the health IT community iPatientCare has joined Health IT community in this Blog Carnival and answered the question: “What’s the value of health IT?”

Kicking off with an engaging ONC Consumer Health IT Summit leading into the 12th Annual HIMSS Policy Summit with many other events through the week iPatientCare, Inc. was actively involved in all events during the week by showing its commitment towards Health It community. It was impressive to see the Health IT community coming together and focusing on nation’s care delivery.

The blog carnival was a true celebration of the value of health IT from individual’s perspective. While there were several common themes that were addressed including standards, interoperability, patient engagement, and predictive analytics.

iPatientCare’s CEO, Udayan Mandavia participated enthusiastically and commented, “Healthcare IT is an enabler of improved population health, more efficient care coordination, and effective patient engagement, that is, “Better Outcomes, Lower Costs, Meaningfully” the iPatientCare way!”
