As a solo internist practicing in Monroe, Michigan, he has already begun aligning with this change. One of his contracts with a commercial insurer links his payments to the quality of patient outcomes. Additionally, he participates in the Comprehensive Primary Care Plus (CPC+) initiative, a nationwide program led by the Centers for Medicare &amp; Medicaid Services (CMS) that promotes enhanced primary care delivery.</p>
