In this webinar, our experts will focus on the Quality Payment Program (QPP), established by the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization ACT of 2015 (MACRA). This is a quality payment incentive program for physicians and other eligible clinicians, which rewards value and outcomes in one of the two ways: either through the Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) or Advanced Alternative Payment Models (APMs). The CMS continues to ramp up the program in the second year by providing more flexibilities to reduce the burden on clinicians and new incentives for participation.
Without wasting your time, this session will give a quick recap of the 2017 Submission Requirements and a look at the changes in the QPP Year 2 Final Rule. Afterward, the session will continue to Audit Readiness, followed by the overview of QPP Year 2 (The performance Year 2018). Finally, the session will move towards the key changes to MIPS Performance Categories and Score for 2018, then end the session with the participation options and eligibility.
